This painting was done with Caran D'Ache Neocolor Watercolor Crayons. I bought a few about a year ago and this is the first time I've used them. Interesting. If you love watercolor but hate the lack of control, you might like these because you basically color and then blur it with your paintbrush but you don't have to use puddles of water. I did add some regular watercolor to darken my twig. Now I've to go buy some more colors. :)

A Month of Pumpkins Day 20

Carol, I prefer puddles, too, but I also enjoyed making squiggly lines with these watercolor crayons. The color is very rich. Maybe next time I'll combine both?
