I'm so excited to have finished illustrating my third book and I think it's far better than anything I've done before. I did it for my design thesis project at the University of NE at Omaha.
(I am graduating in May with a BA in Studio Art/Visual Technology. You're never too old to go back to school, she says, though it's tough being older than your instructors.)
I'm so proud of what I've accomplished. Not only did I write the story (with help from my sister) and do all the illustrations, but I also designed the whole book and my next step is to print and bind it by hand. Then I will design my display for our big show on April 7th. I'll post pictures of the show and I'm going to learn some interactive software so I can get this baby online to share. Here's the cover.
