This is a 10 x 10 in. square painting of my cat, Juliet, resting on a kitchen chair. She's the subject of quite of few of my paintings because she loves to model ;). This was a fun painting because I enjoy painting her and it came together pretty easily. Also, using some pre-mixed grays and yellows really helped in the mixing department. Part of the top and bottom are cut off because of my scanner. Click here to bid.

Oooh, very lovely! You've captured an intense gaze!
Love it. Looks like it's perfectly cropped too. I've recently approached my painting by 1.) getting an accurate drawing 2.) deciding on a color harmony by assessing the way the colors lean 3.) premixing the darkest darks and lightening them into dark middle and lighter values.
