This is so late but I'm posting it anyway. I got an unexpected day off today due to a sick child but he's been amazingly non-whiny or needy and seems to be recovering quietly so I get to paint!
Interestingly on Saturday, I took a workshop on a technique that the artist calls "Soft Focus"and everything we painted was blurry.
