Sarpy County Plains to Planes Public Art Project
Last night was the reception to get sponsors for the Plains to Planes art project to celebrate Sarpy County, Nebraska's 150th anniversary. This project features steel benches in the shapes of a buffalo and a plane. I created designs for both and am pleased to report that both of my benches have been purchased by Shadow Lake, a new outdoor mall opening in Papillion, NE this spring. Here are my mock benches. The buffalo bench is called "Cowboys & Indians" (sorry I don't have a picture of the backside right now) and the plane is called "Head in the Clouds"
