I started teaching watercolor again this past weekend at Fine Arts on Fifth in Malvern, IA. It was cold but we had a nice class who were all ready for spring and eager to paint this pretty coneflower.

I love the freedom in watercolor. Most of my planning is at the beginning, then when you put that paint on and it just does it's thing...it's fun. Like when you were in elementary school fun..I think. These are wonderful!
