Katey was one of the first portraits that I painted back in 1997 when I was getting back into painting. I painted the first picture for her grandma and her mother asked me to paint this again for her. It's encouraging to compare them and see how much I've learned since I first painted it.

Here Birdie, Birdie

Welcome to my Blog. It's something I've been thinking about doing for a while and so I decided that today's the day (carpe diem!!). It feels a little like getting on a bicycle for the first time.
